She pursued her education at Texas A&M University, drawn by the Clinical Psychology Department's passion for holistic health and its robust on-campus training program. This education solidified her approach to viewing individuals as complete entities, with the brain as the foundation for healthy transformations.
Teresa is an expert in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and employs reality checking techniques to guide her clients in recognizing and correcting cognitive distortions. Her areas of expertise include trauma, sexual offenders, and behavioral modification across all age groups. She has earned supervisor status in both her licensures, LPC-S and LSOTP-S, bringing years of diverse case experiences to her practice.
Outside of her professional life, Teresa enjoys spending time with family, friends, and participating in community services. Her hobbies include gardening, tending to her chickens, and enjoying walks and playtime with her dogs.
